ViVa! Vienna! Essay Contest Registration
The first and second -prize winners of this contest will be invited to read their essays and receive their prizes at our next festival.
Write an essay that is a minimum of 500 words and describes the importance of service to others and how that is reflected in the Vienna community.
Who can participate: This contest is open to 7th and 8th grade students from public and private schools in the Vienna area.

ViVa! Vienna! Essay Contest - $750 in prizes to be awarded
1st prize - $450
2nd prize - $200
3rd prize - $100
Essay specifications:
Topic: "Service to others".
Format: 500 words minimum, Times New Roman, 12 point font, double-spaced.
The contest winners will be notified no later than May 15, 2026.
The entries will be judged by a committee of members of the Rotary Club of Vienna.
